• Hair transplantation by follicular micrografting is the best-known type of hair-replacement surgery because it provides the only lasting solution to baldness.
• Propecia Finasteride (Propecia®) is an oral treatment for male pattern baldness, which is also known as androgenetic alopecia. ROGAINE® is another solution that is applied topically to the scalp twice a day and is the first available medication that has been proven effective for hair loss treatment. It contains the active ingredient minoxidil. Both of these medications need to be taken for life or as long as you don’t want the hair loss to get worse.
• Biostimilmulation treatment with low level laser therapy (LLLT) is among the most exciting new options in the treatment of hair loss. Recent US and European studies suggest that LLLT stimulates blood and lymph circulation at the hair root, decreases inflammation, and improves cellular metabolism and protein synthesis.
